Limited to exactly 959 pieces worldwide, this specific model is the "European Dial" variant designed to faithfully replicate the legendary 1959 Jaeger-LeCoultre Classique—the world's first dive watch equipped with a mechanical alarm to remind divers when to begin their ascent. 

  The watch effortlessly blends mid-century vintage aesthetic with modern, high-tier mechanical engineering: 

• Case Size: 40.5mm in diameter (slightly scaled up from the historical 39.8mm to fit modern wrists) and 14mm thick. 

• The Dial: Matte black with a clean look, featuring faux-patina "Luminova" hour markers that simulate aged radium. Unlike the busier U.S. counterpart, the European dial is subtly signed with the full "Jaeger-LeCoultre" script at 12 o'clock. 

• The Alarm Disc: A mobile center disc allows the user to align a triangular marker to set the precise time for the mechanical alarm.

• Bezel & Crystal: Employs a historically accurate fixed (non-rotating) luminescent bezel. The dial is protected by a highly domed plexiglass (acrylic) crystal that delivers authentic vintage off-axis distortion. 

• Case Back: A solid steel case back features an engraving of a vintage frogman explorer surrounded by bubbles, matching the 1959 original.
