The TAG Heuer Targa Florio Automatic Chronograph (Ref. CX2110) is a "neo-vintage" timepiece released in 2001 as part of the brand's "Classics" series. While named after the legendary Sicilian road race, its design is primarily inspired by Heuer's 1935 Flieger" pilot chronographs. The CX2110 is highly regarded for its distinct vintage aesthetic, characterized by a coin-edge bezel and a matte black dial with large, luminous Arabic numerals.
Case: 40mm (often cited between 40mm and 40.5mm) polished stainless steel with a signature oversized crown and mushroom-style pushers.
Crystal: Domed Plexiglass (acrylic), which provides a warm, vintage feel. Later versions (Ref. CX2112) transitioned to sapphire.
Complications: Dual-register chronograph (30-minute counter at 9 o'clock, small seconds at 3 o'clock) and a date window at 6 o'clock.
Water Resistance: Rated to 30 meters (3 ATM), making it splash-resistant but not suitable for swimming.
Strap: Typically paired with a black or brown calfskin leather strap.
