The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Chrono (Ref. 79350) was the first chronograph added to the Black Bay collection, debuting at Baselworld 2017. It is a "diver-chronograph" hybrid that blends the aquatic heritage of the Black Bay series with a motorsports-inspired tachymeter bezel.
Case: 41mm stainless steel with a polished and satin finish.
Dial: Deep black matte dial with recessed, "dished" sub-dials for running seconds (9 o'clock) and a 45-minute counter (3 o'clock).
Movement: Manufacture Calibre MT5813.
Origin: Developed in collaboration with Breitling, based on the Breitling B01 movement with a Tudor-developed high-precision regulating organ.
Certification: COSC-certified chronometer.
Power Reserve: Approximately 70 hours.
Features: Silicon balance spring, column wheel, and vertical clutch for precise action.
Water Resistance: 200 meters (660 feet), featuring a screw-down crown and screw-down pushers.
Crystal: Domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
Aesthetic: Combines the iconic "snowflake" hands (a Tudor signature since 1969) with a fixed steel tachymeter bezel.
Date Function: Positioned at 6 o'clock for a balanced dial layout.
