The Franck Muller Evolution 3-1 is a horological masterpiece that combines a groundbreaking tri-axial tourbillon with a perpetual calendar. First introduced in 2005, it represents one of the most complex creations in Haute Horlogerie, following the world-first tri-axial tourbillon found in the Revolution 3. These timepieces are extremely rare and are often built to order at the Franck Muller Watchland manufacture.
Complications: Tri-axial tourbillon (rotating on three axes to negate gravity's effects), perpetual calendar, moon phase, and a 10-day power reserve indicator.
Dial & Case:
Case: Often found in the iconic Cintrée Curvex tonneau (barrel) shape, crafted in 18k rose gold or platinum.
Dial: Silver-toned "soleil" (sunray) stamped dial with translucent lacquer.
Calendar Displays: Retrograde displays for the date and power reserve, alongside day, month, leap year, and 24-hour indicators.
Movement: Manual-winding mechanical movement featuring intricate Côtes de Genève decoration.
