The Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Ultra Thin Reference 6338, double-signed by the historic retailer Türler, is an exceptional masterpiece of mid-century haute horlogerie. This specific model represents the pinnacle of elegant, minimalist design backed by mechanical ingenuity.
The heart of this watch is the world-renowned Caliber 1003, originally developed by Jaeger-LeCoultre (as Cal. 803) specifically at the request of Vacheron Constantin and Audemars Piguet.
  • Ultra-Thin Record: Introduced in 1955 for Vacheron's bicentenary, it measures an astonishing 1.64 mm thick and 21.05 mm in diameter, remaining one of the thinnest traditionally built manual-wind movements ever made.
  • Exquisite Finishing: It features 17 jewels and 117 components. The mainplate and bridges are crafted from 18k solid gold and extensively decorated with Côtes de Genève and beveled edges, earning it the prestigious Hallmark of Geneva.
  • Technical Nuance: Because the movement is so incredibly lightweight, it features no shockproofing to keep it as thin as humanly possible.
  • The Case: A beautifully proportioned, round 31mm to 33mm case made from solid 18k Yellow Gold. It is defined by its clean profile and aggressively downturned, elegant lugs.
  • The Dial: Purely minimal, featuring a time-only display (hours and minutes) with applied gilt metal baton markers and matches stick hands.
  • The Türler Co-Signature: The dial is double-signed, displaying both "Vacheron & Constantin" and "Türler". Türler was a premier luxury Swiss jewelry and watch retailer based in Zurich. Double-signed dials from high-end retailers like Türler significantly increase the historical interest and market value of the piece.
