The Longines Conquest Classic Moonphase (Reference L2.798.4.52.6) is a highly complex, sport-elegant Swiss luxury watch. Originally introduced at BaselWorld 2015, it packs a complete triple-calendar chronograph mechanism into a robust everyday design.
Movement: Longines Caliber L678 automatic mechanical movement (built on the Valjoux 7751 base), operating at 28,800 vph with a 46–48 hour power reserve.
Case & Build: 42mm polished and brushed stainless steel case, 14.5mm thickness, 21mm lug width, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and an exhibition transparent caseback.
Complete Calendar: Twin windows inside the top subdial display the day of the week and month. The date is tracked via a long central pointer hand tipped with a crescent moon pointing to a 1–31 chapter ring.
Chronograph: Standard central sweep seconds hand, 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock, and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock.
Moonphase: A stylized gold lunar disc rotates inside the 6 o'clock subdial to track the current lunar cycle.
Dial & Details: Black dial with a vertical teck / linear textured design, applied indices, and hands filled with Super-LumiNova. It also includes a 24-hour AM/PM indicator shared on the 9 o'clock subdial.
Water Resistance: Rated to 50 meters (5 bar), making it resilient against light rain and splashes but not suitable for deep swimming.
2 o'clock Subdial: 30-minute chronograph counter + Day & Month windows.
6 o'clock Subdial: 12-hour chronograph counter + Moonphase display aperture.
9 o'clock Subdial: Running continuous small seconds + 24-hour synchronized hand.
