The Rolex Lady-Datejust Reference 79173 is a luxury timepiece produced from the late 1990s through the mid-2000s. It is highly regarded for its classic, smaller profile and two-tone "Rolesor" aesthetics. The reference 79173 replaced the older reference 69173. Its primary upgrade lies in the Caliber 2235 movement, which collectors recognize as one of Rolex's most reliable and easily serviceable calibers. While the exterior retains its classic look, the modern movement provides improved timekeeping consistency.
