The IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 43 (Reference: IW378001) is a premium, aviation-inspired luxury tool watch introduced by IWC Schaffhausen in 2022. It modernizes the iconic military Flieger design by upgrading the timepiece with a manufacture in-house caliber, an open sapphire crystal case back, and enhanced water resistance. 
Cockpit Instrument Aesthetics
  The high-contrast matte black dial simulates classic aviation dashboards. Large Arabic numerals paired with the signature orientation triangle at 12 o'clock optimize legibility. Both the primary hands and tracking elements are heavily coated in Super-LumiNova for intense low-light readability.
Robust Engineering
  Crafted from brushed stainless steel with polished accents on the lug bevels and pushers, the case strikes a balance between tool-watch utility and luxury finishing. The front convex sapphire crystal is specially engineered against sudden drops in air pressure, preventing it from displacing during high-altitude flight.
