Rare WWII Omega 6B/159 RAF Pilot/Navigator Watch - Cal. 30T2 (Circa 1943)
Up for sale is a truly historic and rare timepiece: a vintage Omega 6B/159, issued to the British Royal Air Force (RAF) during World War II. These watches were critical navigational instruments for Spitfire and Hurricane pilots and navigators before the era of radar and GPS.
  Military Markings: The case back is clearly engraved with the RAF stores reference 6B/159 (indicating aircraft navigation equipment) and the issue number A 22061.
  Movement: Powered by the legendary Omega Calibre 30T2 manual-wind movement, renowned for its accuracy and durability.
  Dial: Features the original creamy dial with black Arabic numerals and a center sweep seconds hand, designed for maximum legibility in the cockpit.
  Hands: Classic blued steel "spade and whip" hands, which are a hallmark of this military reference.
  Case: Approximately 33mm in diameter (excluding crown) with a Duralumin/alloy center and stainless steel snap-on back and bezel—typical for wartime production due to steel shortages.
