The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph "City of Sails" Alinghi (Reference 25979OR.OO.D002CA.01) in 18kt rose gold is  a highly collectible, limited-edition timepiece released in 2003. It was created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Royal Oak and honor the Swiss Alinghi sailing team's historic victory at the America's Cup.

  While the stainless steel variant (Ref. 25979ST) features a dark slate/black dial, the exclusive 18kt rose gold version was limited to only 200 pieces worldwide and showcases a specialized tricolor dial layout.

• Case Size: 39mm diameter and a slim 11mm thickness. 

• Case Material: Solid 18kt rose gold with a signature octagonal bezel and 8 white gold screws.

• Dial Layout: A multi-toned configuration featuring a central white/silver "Grande Tapisserie" waffle pattern surrounded by a smooth grey reserve ring. It utilizes luminous Arabic numerals. 

• Alinghi Tribute: The 12-hour chronograph subdial at the 9 o'clock position prominently features the red and black Alinghi team logo. 

• Movement: Powered by the automatic Caliber 2385. It is based on the legendary Frédéric Piguet 1185, one of the thinnest automatic column-wheel chronograph movements ever built.
