The Omega Specialties Museum Collection No. 3 1945 "The Officer's Watch" (Reference 5702.50.02) is a rare, historically significant limited edition timepiece of 1,945 pieces worldwide. Released as a modern homage to the iconic 1945 military-issue multi-scale chronograph (the legendary CK2048), a "Full Set" configuration means it includes its original outer/inner presentation boxes, limited edition certificate, and official Omega warranty papers.
The Dial & Scales: The matte black dial features vintage-style rose gold leaf hands and gilt-style printing. It is an instrument-heavy triple-scale dial layout that houses a tachymeter, telemeter, and 15-beat pulsation scale. A distinct pop of red at 12:00 offsets the monochromatic scheme.
The Bezel & Case: It has a fixed 12-hour steel bezel combined with retro teardrop lugs. Measuring 37.5mm to 38mm across and 11.9mm thick, it remains incredibly wearable on smaller wrists.
The Movement: Powered by the Omega Calibre 3200, a 33-jewel manual-wind movement based on a high-grade Frédéric Piguet 1185 architecture. The automatic winding components were removed by Omega to stay true to the vintage hand-wound tradition. It utilizes a premium column-wheel mechanism and vertical clutch for crisp chronograph activation without sub-dial hand skipping.
Power Reserve & Glass: Offers a robust 55-hour power reserve and is protected by a box-shaped, domed sapphire crystal that mimics vintage plexiglass distortion while staying completely scratch-resistant.
