The Breitling Chrono-Matic "Lefty" Navitimer (Reference A41360) is a highly distinctive, discontinued modern tribute inspired by Breitling’s historic 1969 automatic chronograph innovations. This special edition watch was only produced for a brief window between 2005 and 2008. Because of its short production run and unusual left-crown engineering, it is considered a rare piece that infrequently circulates on the secondary market.
Case Size: 44mm diameter and 13.6mm thickness crafted in stainless steel.
The "Lefty" Layout: Features an unusual left-hand crown configuration, while the dual chronograph push-pieces remain on the traditional right side.
Dial Design: Classic "Black Panda" or reverse panda configuration, showcasing a glossy black dial with contrasting white twin subdials (bicompax) and a white slide-rule outer bezel scale.
Movement: Powered by the Breitling Caliber 41LC, an automatic chronometer-grade movement built on an ETA 2892-A2 base with a Dubois-Dépraz chronograph module inverted 180 degrees to achieve the unique crown position. It offers a 42-hour power reserve.
Functions: Timekeeping with hacking seconds, a central chronograph seconds hand, a 30-minute counter, and a quick-set date window neatly positioned at the 6 o'clock mark.
Other Features: Bidirectional rotating bezel, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and 30 meters (3 ATM) of water resistance.
